Jeffery now has quite the opportunity ahead of him and the pressure of playing in front of his home town! Just to let you know Jeffrey, we will all be watching and the pressure is real! To John Gonsalves, a father who truly stayed committed in balancing his son's dreams to play along with his education, we commend you as well. Without your persistence in seeking additional training opportunities for Jeffrey, this opportunity would never have presented itself.

The signing of a locally raised and trained player to the MLS truly will have an impact across the Canadian Soccer community and we hope that Jeffrey is just the first of many more talented, determined and skilled players to venture down this path.
