August 12, 2010 (RELEASE) --

The ANB Academy is pleased to announce that 16-year old Academy Team member Jackson Tooke is heading to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC of the English Premiership for trials with their youth academy system.

According to FIFA’s latest regulations on the status and transfer of players, a minor is not allowed to sign for a foreign club before the age of 18.

“Jackson was scouted by Wolves club scout Bob Bennett who visited Canada in June 2010, then at the Foyle Cup in Ireland in July 2010. He was also scouted by Lens Football Club of the French League 1 while at training camp in France in July 2010 as well. Jackson has been an ANB Academy Team member since the academy inception in October 2005. We are excited and proud of Jackson; he will be our first ambassador to the youth elite in England” said academy director Bassam Naim.

ANB academy's vision is to become Canada’s leading soccer development organization. Its mission is to identify Canadian soccer talent, and to maximize the potential of players at any level, through professional coaching and training.
